FOR RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT
CHEETAH knowledge Exchange Portal is an integral part of CHEETAH project web site powered and developed by DTE unit of ENEA ©2014 - 2018 with support of all CHEETAH Partners. Starting from early 2018, CHEETAH KEP moved its first steps to became EERA Knowledge Exchange Platform for PV Technology (KEPT-PV). A new name for the previous platform characterizing our will to serve better and more efficiently in Knowledge Exchange a wider European and International PV RTD community.

PV Academy

Thanks to the day-by-day offers of all involved lecturers, CHEETAH webinar has been  enriched during the duration of the project of a series of very interesting  lectures and short on-line courses focused on best practice in the utilization of infrastructures, equipment, realization of experiments and test procedures, technical-scientific aspects and dissemination of CHEETAH project  results/output, webinars concerning strategy in PV RTD, market and interaction with industries. This offer continues by CHEETAH KEPT-PV platform

By collecting and proposing now the whole set of lectures  as  complete "virtual"  courses  in PV organized by  topics in dedicated specific web pages named CHEETAH PVirtual Academy course will:

  • simplify searching criteria in our catalogue of lectures
  • attract interested web user, whether a younger researcher/student or skilled scientists or engineer in different technical-scientific areas than proposed topic, to learn more in different topics by  "free" accessing  to a full set of lectures constituting all together a PV Virtual course

This will not only overcome the overlapping  and fragmentation of the proposed day-by-day approach of the lectures,  this will  also constitute a very relevant heritage for the PV community  to  further enrich CHEETAH e-learning offer  after the very successful  CHEETAH nano-MOOCs series Learning at the CHEETAH speed.

This will not only overcome the overlapping  and fragmentation of the proposed day-by-day approach of the lectures,  this will  also constitute a very relevant opportunity to valorise the  heritage  that CHEETAH e-learning  is offering to PV RTD community by further enriching our offer  after the very successful  CHEETAH nano-MOOCs series AH e-learning offer  after the very successfull  CHEETAH nano-MOOCs series Learning at the CHEETAH speed. organized by UPM.

The participation of  EERA-PV members  to CHEETAH KEP in the new KEPT-PV platform  will further foster the opportunity to implement our catalogue  of free access lectures in PV learning in the upcoming time.

After the development  of this platform end of December and its testing in the first part og January 2018, the first CHEETAH PV Virtual Academy pilot course  concerning “Modelling PV: from conversion Technologies to Systems” is now available on line. Modelling PV is presently one of the most important tools in both Research and Design situations.: There are a large number of software programs currently available to simulate various solar cell technologies at processing stages from material  to modelling  devices, modules and complete systems
