RAMIRO GONZÁLEZ Iñigo
Researcher in Photovoltaic Materials and devices and their characterization @UPM-IES and ICFO
ICFO - The Institute of Photonic Sciences - Functional Optoelectronic Materials (formely in charge to UPM-IES)
Short Bio
Dr. Iñigo Ramiro graduated as Telecommunications engineer in 2008 and obtained his PhD in Photovoltaics in 2015, both at UPM (Madrid). During his PhD he developed advanced solar cell characterization set-ups, such as one for measuring two-photon induced photocurrent. He has worked extensively in novel concepts for solar cells, with special focus on intermediate band solar cells. His current interests encompass the physics of quantum materials and their use in photovoltaics, and materials and devices characterization. He is now in charge to ICFO - The Institute of Photonic Sciences - Functional Optoelectronic Materials Unit in Castelldefels (Barcelona), Spain.
