IZZI Massimo
Researcher in Photovoltaic Solar Cells
ENEA Photovoltaic Technologies unit - Photovoltaic and smart Network Division - Energy Technologies Department [DTE-FSN-TEF]
Short Bio
Dr. Massimo Izzi has received the degree in solid-state Physics at Univerity La Spienza Rome and started his career as researcher at the Rome University with study on the structural and electronic properties of nanophase materials. He moved to the ENEA, where he specialized on photovoltaic crystalline solar cells. Actually he is involved in different research programs, whose main target is the development of high efficiency and low- cost solar cell technology to promote the solar electricity towards the grid parity, mainly on highly innovative manufacturing concept as the selective emitter and the back contact heterojunction structures. Moreover he is expertise in homo-junction diffusion formation via POCL3 gas source in open tube and dry silicon oxidation. He is author of numerous papers in international scientific journals and conference . He is referee of several international scientific journal.
