CSEM Photovoltaïcs division in Neuchâtel provides leading technologies for a variety of customers from different industries: equipment manufacturing, solar cells and modules manufacturing, specialty PV and building applications, control of energy systems and storage as well as consumer goods. Your mission:
In close collaboration with the division Head, to whom you report, you are responsible for defining and communicating the strategic direction of the sector and its areas of activity. You guide and manage a team of 8-10 people, directing and motivating them to achieve their objectives and you are in charge of the sector’s operations, including running the sector’s business activities and portfolio of projects, as well as a key person for project acquisition and negotiation. You work closely with the other sectors and divisions within CSEM, as well as with our academic and industrial partners in Switzerland and worldwide.
Your profile:
You are an experienced Engineer with a Master or PhD in engineering (chemistry, physics, material science...) and have several years of experience in an industrial or equivalent management position. As a recognized expert in photovoltaics, or composite materials, ideally with an experience in manufacturing, you master both the high level overview as well as in-depth specifics. Appreciated as an inspiring and motivating leader, you are able to listen and instill confidence to your team. You enjoy taking on new challenges, keep your cool under pressure, and have a clear, result-oriented approach to your work. You are fluent in French and English; knowledge of German is a plus.
