PVCON2018-International Conference on Photovoltaic Science and Technology

[CONFERENCE]

PVCon conference series is replacing SolarTR conferences METU-Middle East Technical University have been organizing in Turkey since 2010. With the new name and more international perspectives, PVCON conferences will be stronger and more comprehensive with intensive participation from national and international PV community. 

PVCon2018  has  already received substantial attention. The participants will share the recent researches and developments of the science and technology about solar energy and solar PV, contributing to the development of the related R/D and infrastructure, and in the meantime establishing a fruitful platform of national and international collaborations.

Some selected papers will be considered for publication as special issue in the international journal “Renewable Energy” by Elsevier

PVCon2018 coincides with the increased efforts on the usage of solar energy in Turkey. PVCon2018 expects participation both from research institutions and industry from Turkey and all over the world.

As a social event, PVCon2018 will be organizing a tour to the beautiful Cappadocia at the end of the conference. You can also visit METU-GÜNAM’s R&D facilities for PV technologies (including the new pilot line) during the conference.
