THE SEVENTH FRAMEWORK PROGRAMME
FOR RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT
CHEETAH knowledge Exchange Portal is an integral part of CHEETAH project web site powered and developed by DTE unit of ENEA ©2014 - 2018 with support of all CHEETAH Partners. Starting from early 2018, CHEETAH KEP moved its first steps to became EERA Knowledge Exchange Platform for PV Technology (KEPT-PV). A new name for the previous platform characterizing our will to serve better and more efficiently in Knowledge Exchange a wider European and International PV RTD community.

nano-MOOC:Simulation of solar cells & modules with equivalent circuits

Nano-MOOC

Simulation of solar cells & modules with equivalent circuits

prof. David Fuertes  - UPM-IES

Interactive access from Dec. 14th to 29th 2017

CHEETAH e-learning platform has launched a series of nano-MOOCs Massive Online Open Courses  “Learning PV at Cheetah speed”  proposed and realized by Instituto de Energía Solar Universidad Politécnica de Madrid - IES-UPM under the leadership of prof. Carlos del Cañizo.

They are independent courses so any interested student, younger researcher and also, Engineers, R&D staff can register for just one of them, of for the three of them if they like.

Interested participants can follow at their own path, with an estimated student effort of around 20 hours hours of dedication from the student, including the presentations, readings and exercise.

They are very specific beyond “Fundamentals of PV”, focused on a relevant topic for researchers and PhD students, and accessible online, so that anyone can access based on his/her own needs and time availability.

Simulation of solar cells & modules with equivalent circuits

The third course of this series is offered by prof. David Fuertes IES-UPM and it is titled “Simulation of solar cells & modules with equivalent circuits"

  • To present the necessity and the nature of specific simulation tools in diagnostics, optimization and prediction of operating solar cells and modules.
  • To understand circuit theory as a simplification of Maxwell’s equations and the conditions imposed thereby

Video-presentations, suggested readings and exercises  will help students and younger researchers to go deeper into this very important topic with an estimated student effort of around 20 hours.

Are you interested to be supported in the evaluation of  your achieved learning level by some exercises???
