CHEETAH knowledge Exchange Portal is an integral part of CHEETAH project web site powered and developed by DTE unit of ENEA ©2014 - 2018 with support of all CHEETAH Partners. Starting from early 2018, CHEETAH KEP moved its first steps to became EERA Knowledge Exchange Platform for PV Technology (KEPT-PV). A new name for the previous platform characterizing our will to serve better and more efficiently in Knowledge Exchange a wider European and International PV RTD community.

Description of organization

KIC InnoEnergy with  headquarters in the Netherlands  develops the  activities through a network of offices located in Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Poland and Sweden.

KIC InnoEnergy is one of the first Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs) created under the leadership of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT)  with 27 shareholders that include top ranking industries, research centres and universities - all of them key players in the energy field. More than 150 additional partners contribute to  activities, forming a first class network that is always open to new entrants, furthering our pursuit of excellence

it is a European company driving innovation, entrepreneurship and education in the sustainable energy field, by bringing together academics, business and research institutes. The  goal is to make a positive impact on sustainable energy in Europe by creating future game changers with a different mind-set, and bringing innovative products, services and successful companies to life.


Within the thematic field “Renewables” KIC InnoEnergy has drafted a roadmap for PV technologies based on inputs from the SET plan and expertise of its partners. This roadmap will guide the innovation projects to be carried out during the following 5 years. Such projects are collaborative projects, with clear IP ruling, based on an open innovation approach that aims at developing new marketable products and services. Likewise, KIC InnoEnergy is supporting and will continue to support in the coming years new innovative start-ups related to the PV sector. KIC InnoEnergy also  manages a Master´s and a PhD program on renewable energy with specialisation on PV, as well as other life-long learning activities intended for researchers and professionals.
