CHEETAH knowledge Exchange Portal is an integral part of CHEETAH project web site powered and developed by DTE unit of ENEA ©2014 - 2018 with support of all CHEETAH Partners. Starting from early 2018, CHEETAH KEP moved its first steps to became EERA Knowledge Exchange Platform for PV Technology (KEPT-PV). A new name for the previous platform characterizing our will to serve better and more efficiently in Knowledge Exchange a wider European and International PV RTD community.

Short Bio

Thomas M. Brown received his physics degree (cum laude) with a thesis on amorphous silicon heterostructures from the University of Rome “La Sapienza”. He investigated poly-Si TFTs at the Engineering Department, Cambridge University, in 1996-1997. He completed his PhD at the Cavendish Laboratory, University of Cambridge on OLEDs in 2001. From 2001-2005 he developed E-paper and polymer TFTs as Senior Engineer with Plastic Logic Ltd, Cambridge, UK. In 2005 he was recipient of a “Re-entry” Fellowship awarded by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research and is Associate Professor at the Department of Electronic Engineering, University of Rome “Tor Vergata” (UTV) where he cofounded the Centre for Hybrid and Organic Solar Energy in 2006. At UTV he is responsible for the lecture courses on “Organic and biological Electronics” and “Scientific Writing”. His current main research activities are in perovskite, polymer and dye sensitized solar cells.
