Short Bio
Dr. Stathis Tselepis is the head of the Photovoltaic Systems and Distributed Generation department. He has been involved in more than 45 European and National R&DD projects since 1994. He is involved in projects dealing with PV cell and module testing and performance evaluation, photovoltaic system design, development, monitoring and evaluation, Hybrid systems, Microgrids with distributed energy resources, electric vehicle monitoring systems development and evaluation. He is responsible for the development of the laboratory for PV module, components and system evaluation at CRES. He is a member in various European organizations, such as: EPIA, DERlab, the European PV Technology Platform (WG3), a national expert in the European Electricity Grid Initiative (EEGI), a member of the Solar European Industry Initiative (SEII) team for photovoltaic and concentrated solar power and a member of the scientific committees of the European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and the PV Hybrid and Mini-Grid Conference. Dr. Tselepis is retired in October 2017
