Short Bio
Ildefonso Muñoz received his BSc in Electrical Engineering in 2000 and his MSc in Renewable Energies & Electric Generation, both from the Public University of Navarra in Pamplona (Spain). Since June 2003 he is part of the scientific staff at CENER. His main area of expertise is the design and sizing of PV installations (including solar resource and energy production estimation) and the electronic power converters for PV applications. He has participated in national and international PV projects in technical assessments, developing of preliminary projects, Due Diligence and evaluation of EPC and O&M contracts of PV installations, including on-site measurements and analysis of PV plants. He’s Head of PV Inverters Laboratory (LIF) at CENER. He is member of the National Committee for Standard and member of technical committee for national regulation of PV plants. He has actively participated in national and EU projects and contributed with several publications in international conferences.
