Short Bio
D. Luis Casajús Medrano, received his BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2001 and his MSc degree in Risk Prevention Assessment in 2003, both in Public University of Navarra. From February 2003 to August 2003 he worked in Gonvauto Navarra S.A., automotive sector company. From November 2001 to August 2002 and from August 2003 to December 2005 he worked in Ingeniería Guallart as responsible of project redaction and construction and execution management of mechanical and civil works projects. After studies and work experience about mechanical engineering, mechanical and electrical design and evaluation projects, he is part of the scientific staff at CENER since 2006 as responsible of design and evaluation of photovoltaic installation projects. Projects performed in CENER are among others, solar resource and estimation of energy production, technical assessment in due diligence of photovoltaic plants, preliminary design projects, evaluation of photovoltaic installations and economical evaluation of projects. Also, he has achieved great experience making specialized work in following points: development of methodology for testing photovoltaic solar trackers according to current regulations, technical design of photovoltaic systems and project coordination in “Instalaciones Fotovoltaicas” group of CENER. Furthermore, he has participated in Research, Development and Innovation national, European and international projects.
