Short Bio
Nuria Martín Chivelet, PhD in Physics (UPM, 1999), is a Senior Researcher at the PV Unit of CIEMAT. Her main lines of research have focused on testing, characterization and modeling of PV modules under actual operating conditions and on the integration of solar PV in buildings (Building Integrated Photovoltaics, BIPV).
She has participated in more than twenty projects, national and international, being the Principal Investigator in eight of them. She has published more than 30 articles in indexed journals, chapters of books and complete books, concerning different aspects of photovoltaic energy, and many other papers in the proceedings of international and national conferences.
She has been participating since 2002 in the International Energy Agency, as the Spanish representative at IEA-PVPS Task 7: PV in the Built Environment, and at IEA-PVPS Task 15: Enabling Framework for the Acceleration of BIPV. She actively participates in international and national standardization committees related to Photovoltaics: IEC/TC 82 at the International Electrotechnical Commission being the Spanish coordinator of the IEC WG1, CLC/TC 82 at the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization, and AEN/CTN 206/SC 82 at AENOR.
