DELLI VENERI Paola
Head of ENEA unit Innovative and Photovoltaic devices Unit in ENEA Portici Research center
Innovative Devices Unit - Photovoltaic and smart Network Division - Energy Technologies Department [DTE-FSN-DIN]
Paola Delli Veneri (physicist), since 1997 has been researcher at ENEA – Portici Research Center. Her main professional interest is in silicon solar cell technology. She carries out research and leads a group forn the study and development of materials and technological processes for the realization of photovoltaic devices and innovative energy components. She supported the studies and the development of devices, sensors, components, advanced systems and applications, for the safety and reduction of the environmental impact of energy production processes and for improving their efficiency.
Main tasks and functions:
- Study and development of materials and devices for photovoltaic energy conversion;ù
- Study and development of physico-chemical sensors, sensor and actuator networks with particular reference to the safety of energy production processes and the minimization of their environmental impact;
- Study and development of chemical and vacuum technologies for the realization of materials and devices.
- Study and development of innovative devices, processes and systems for non-destructive control and monitoring in the industrial, environmental and energy resources fields.
