Short Bio
Luigi Mongibello graduated in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Naples “Federico II” in 2002, presenting his thesis on the stability of parallel flows. In 2005 he completed the Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering at the same University with a final thesis on the numerical simulation of flow control actuators. He has been contract professor of the course “Exercises in Gas Dynamics” at the Aeronautical Academy in Naples, and he has supervised several MSc and PhD theses.
Since 2006 is a Researcher at ENEA. His research is focused on the simulation, design and optimization of heat storage systems for solar collectors, CSP and Micro-CHP plants, and on the thermal design of PV, BIPV and CPV systems.
