Short Bio
Mario Tucci received his Laurea degree in Electronic Engineering in 1992 and his Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering both from University of Rome “Sapienza” (Italy) in 1996. He worked at the University of Rome “Sapienza” on thin film optoelectronic devices and solar cell technologies. Since 1997 he is researcher at the ENEA (Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economy Development) and his research activities have been devoted to solar cells focusing on innovative solar cell fabrication processes, numerical modelling and characterisations of semiconductor materials and devices. From 2013 He is Head of ENEA Unit: DTE-FSN-TEF (Photovoltaic Labs). He is lecturer of a Master in Engineering of Photovoltaic at University of Tor Vergata Rome and he received the Italian Associate Professor qualification for Electronic Engineering in 2014. He is referee of several international scientific journals and conferences and author of more than 190 papers on international journals and congress proceedings. He is co-author of one international and four national patents.
