Short Bio
Phillip Manley studied physics at the University of Durham and is currently a PhD student at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin für Materialien und Energie (in cooperation with the Free University Berlin and Zuse Institute Berlin). His work involves optical simulations for photovoltaics including the transfer matrix method, Mie theory and the finite element method and is focused on the integration of plasmonic nanoparticles for improved performance in chalcopyrite solar cells
