Short Bio
Adrien Danel received the master degree in physics from the polytechnical institute of Grenoble (INPG), France, in 1994.
From 1995 to 1996 he was with Schneider Electrics as a research engineer on new opto-electronic devices. In 1996, he joined CEA-LETI, Grenoble, to study until 2003 Si wafer surface preparation and characterization, in collaboration with QC Solutions Inc., Bellerica, MA, USA, and received the Ph.D. degree in microelectronics from INPG in 1999. From 2004 to 2008 he was leading the team in charge of metrology and trace analysis in CEA-LETI’s cleanrooms.
In 2009, he joined the national institute for solar energy (INES), Le Bourget du Lac, France, focusing on heterojunction crystalline cells and contributing to technology transfer and industrialization as process integration leader in the CEA-INES heterojunction pilot line.
